I listen to your sermons, mainly online, and they are always good. They do always sound like this, with the exception of the umbrella reference. I don't think they sound stoned though.
well jon, if you don't want to sound stoned, then you probably shouldn't get baked before speaking. i know it helps with your nervousness, but it may indeed be evident to your audience. personally, i find it endearing though.
i'm still working on that "keep your mouth shut and even though you are foolish, you'll appear wise" thing. I currently serve as the Teaching Pastor at Midtown Fellowship in Columbia, SC. That doesn't mean I do the predominant of our teaching on Sunday nights, but if it pertains to teaching at Midtown I'm probably involved with it somehow.
